Step 5: Verify forwarding email address

Gmail will send a verification email to the address you entered, so you will need to check that email account and follow the instructions to verify that you own the email address.

Step 6: Select forwarding option

Once the forwarding address is verified, select the “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” option and choose the email address you just added from the dropdown menu.

Step 7: Choose what to do with the Gmail copy

You can choose to keep Gmail’s copy in the inbox, mark Gmail’s copy as read, or archive Gmail’s copy. Select the option that works best for you.

Step 8: Save changes

Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to finalize your email forwarding settings.

That’s it! You have successfully set up email forwarding in Gmail. Now, all new emails received in your account will be forwarded to the email address you specified. It’s important to note that any messages that were already in your account prior to setting up forwarding will not be forwarded unless you manually forward them.
