Hey everybody I want to let you know that I have undertaken the grueling task of getting the heck away from WordPress. I was so sick of the problems and updates I had to do all the time. I am now using my ezbloo system and I am integrating all my old posts into the new system. It sucks, but in the end, I will save bundles of time. I needed to keep things simple and that is why I created ezbloo. I'll have more on this later for you guys after I am done with the total integration of my old posts here. So if you are looking for a post and need it faster, shoot me an email and I will make it a priority. [email protected]

First of all I want to let you know that there is no way to automatically fix broken Amazon affiliate links. As of today November 18th 2020 you still have to manually go in and fix these broken affiliate links as well as non Amazon affiliate links.

Broken Link Checker

The WordPress Broken Link Checker is a great way to check on your broken Amazon affiliate links. Log into your dashboard, navigate to plugins, lick "Add New" and then search for "Broken Link Checker". Once you find it, install it and activate it.

Setting Up Broken Link Checker

Once you are logged into your dashboard you can access the Broken Link Checker from 3 areas. This time though we want to go to the set up section so we will navigate to "Settings" then "Link Checker".  Here set up what you want to check for and where you want to check like post, pages, comments and more.

Checking Broken Links

After you have done the setup process then the "Broken Link Checker" will go through the process of checking the links. It will notify you when you have broken links in 3 areas.
  1. The Main Part Of Your Dashboard
  2. Tools > Broken Links
  3. Settings > Links

Alternative Methods To Checking Amazon Affiliate Broken Links

The best method I saw to checking Amazon Affiliate Broken links was by mommylivingthelifeofriley.com She  does this by logging into her Amazon Affiliate Dashboard at Amazon.

First, you'll need to log in to your Amazon affiliate account.  I like to do this by clicking on the "Your Earnings Summary" in the dark gray bar at the very top of the Amazon page.  Next, look on the left side of the screen in the column which lists your Reports and click on the option that says "Orders Report." Once you're there, you'll notice that you can select a variety of date ranges, but Yesterday is automatically chosen for you.  Pick whichever value you'd like to start with and then scroll down to the bottom of the first section entitled "Orders Report".  Here you will see a row that says "Items With No Orders".  At first, you may think that this information is virtually useless, but in actuality, this is how you will find your broken affiliate links.
