Hey everybody I want to let you know that I have undertaken the grueling task of getting the heck away from WordPress. I was so sick of the problems and updates I had to do all the time. I am now using my ezbloo system and I am integrating all my old posts into the new system. It sucks, but in the end, I will save bundles of time. I needed to keep things simple and that is why I created ezbloo. I'll have more on this later for you guys after I am done with the total integration of my old posts here. So if you are looking for a post and need it faster, shoot me an email and I will make it a priority. [email protected]

We have talked extensively on using SSL's but Google is upping the game. Starting in October 2017 Google will require you to have an SSL on your website. SSL is an acronym for secure socket layer. It is what makes the green lock at the top of the website and encrypts the page.

Where Does This Change Apply?

If you have any forms on your website and you do not have a SSL Google Chrome will fire off a warning to the user. This will cost you sales and customers. This even means contact forms, credit card forms, email forms, you name it. If there is a form on your website you will need to have a SSL.

What If I Don't Have Forms On My Website?

If you do not have any forms on your website then there is no need to worry. You will still be indexed just not as good as the websites that do have SSL's.

I Have A WordPress how Can I Make My Site SSL?

We wrote an extensive post on how to make WordPress https://. Follow those instructions and you will be good to go. There is also a video in that post to make it easier for you.
