Bing is giving me an SEO non-Compliant message. Alternatively, you can use <html lang=”en-gb”> or <title lang=”en-gb”>.
So to fix this problem can I put this in my head.php in my child theme?
is this the way to write it <meta http-equiv=”content-language” content=”en-us”> If not what would the content equal?

You got that correct. You can use a meta tag to let search engines know what country and language you belong too.
